Eulogio Pomares Carralcoba Albariño

I have drank many times the extraordinary wines that Eulogio Pomares makes for his family at Zarate, but this is the first time I drink one from his own Bodega. As expected, it was delicious, although very different. The Carralcoba was a little fruitier on the still reserved nose, with a creamy almost butterscotch-like palate, and less acidity than its Zarate siblings. Those are more austere, more structured, almost Chablis-like, which I prefer, by not by much...
