A big, complex Xarel-lo, and tremendous value for money

The Improvisació is the "entry-level" wine from Enric Soler. By comparison with almost all other Xarel-lo wines, it is bigger and more complex, with a great range of flavours, depth and also a tremendous freshness. For what is in the bottle, it is also amazing value for money. One of the very best Xarel-lo varietals out there, outshone only by Enric Soler's two other offerings from this fantastic grape, his Espenyalluchs and Nun Vinya dels Taus. The 2017 vintage is more subtle and complex than the 2016, with the acidity more integrated in a more "rounded" experience. It is amazing value for money, will go with a wide range of foods or on its own, and should keep well in the cellar for a few years. Highly recommended!

The essential Xarel-lo

If you want a first impression of the potential of the Xarel-lo variety, try this wine. It is big and bold and assertive, with plenty of fresh acidity, quite a bit of tannins for a whit wine and lots of different aromas making for an amazing experience in the nose and on the palate with a long-lasting finish. I can't recommend it enough!

Quintessential Xarel-lo

The 2016 vintage of Improvisació lives up to all the expectations. It is fresh and yet complex, bringing all the best out from the Xarel-lo grape. There are various floral notes, fruits like citrus and apples, and a fresh acidity on the palate, with a long and harmonious finish.
