Tricó Claudia

There is a new single-vineyard Albariño that is very aptly named Claudia, after García's granddaughter, as the name implies light, and the 2015 Claudia has light and subtleness. It's also delicate yet powerful, with lots of inner energy, very elegant. The palate is seamless, with citrus freshness, lively and deep, focused and long, tasty and terribly balanced. Simply superb. This is the first time I've seen this wine, but it might have been produced before. 2,400 bottles were filled in August 2016 and aged in bottle since.

Tasted blind. On the nose, it is clean and pure, citrus and stone-fruit aromas, respecting very well the varietal profile. On the palate, it is particularly tasty, fresh and crystalline. Is a clinically perfect wine that will please everyone; however, not very emotional.
