This is a lovely wine which announces itself from the very first sip as well-balanced, skilfully-made -- and delicious. Yes, it is described as ‘youthful’ put there is nothing raw or immature about it. Rather, it has a wonderfully light, clean, soft fruitiness which will perfectly complement a broad range of (non-fishy) food. I have been familiar with the Monstant denominación for many years and I bought this as a change from my beloved Rioja. For sure, I will be buying more of Mas Picosa de Flor en Flor ! Much more.

Young and bright.

This delicious Montsant has the virtues an limitations of a good young wine. It has bags of fresh fruit which still manages to come across as smooth and soft on the palate. Sure, it lacks the sophistication and depth of a more madure product, but for party drinking and with tapas, it is ideal.
